Hi Becky and Greg,

Finally! I am going to post a comment. Sorry it has taken so long but we have been so busy loving Champ! I will have to say I was not ready for my husband bringing home a German Shepherd for my son Andrew. But I quickly fell in love! I can honestly say Champ is the BEST dog I have ever had. He is so smart. He loves to retrieve anything you throw. And we can't keep him out of the pool. He swims year round no matter how cold! Champ is a constant companion for both of my kids and we think he believes he is a kid too, anything they do he wants to be part of the action. Thank you for breeding such wonderful dogs.

Attached are some pictures of Champ when we first brought him home, his first birthday party, now, and Champ and his brother Kaiser having a play date.

Thanks Again, Jennifer, Chad, Andrew, and Abby - 4/07/07 - Champ - Litter C

Hi Rebecca and Greg!

Well it's been a year and you guys have given us the greatest friend and family member we could have ever asked for. We've sent some pictures to show how Axl (little sable boy from litter H) has grown up, and he has turned into such a beautiful animal. He gets compliments and praise everywhere we go. He is best friends with our little boy Andy (now 2 and a half), and they'd romp and play in the back yard all day if you let them.

Axl is doing well with obedience, a little stubborn, but his charm makes you forget about that part. He loves retrieving even more than my friend's Black Lab, and it's a great way to keep him in great shape.

Thanks again for such a wonderful dog. I tell everyone who we got him from. Kennel Mom and Dad should be proud (human and canine).

Thanks,
Curtis, Kelly, Andy, and Axl Boulware - 3/20/07 - Axl - Litter H

Hi,

Just wanted to send you this picture of Hogan (Litter H). He is almost a year old and is going on about 100 pounds. We love him so much. He is really smart and huge. People are always commenting on his confirmation and how he has the most beautiful coat. Thanks for the great friend. We all love him and so does Mika.

Hi Rebecca,

Just writing to you to give you an update on Itor. Itor is now 16-months old and as you can see, what a great looking boy. Since he came back home to us in March after his little vacation with you in Florida, we started training Itor in April 2006. Itor's only downfall is he isn't really people friendly. He is an outstanding personal protection dog with incredible drive. Itor's commands are all in Czech language and we are looking to compete with him in PSA in the spring. Itor is very focused when he is training, that he has never backed down from any situation he has been put in. We can't wait to see what he is going to be like by the spring 2007. We will keep you posted and more pictures to come.

P.S. we love him a lot and want to thank you again for this awesome Breed.
Thanks,Steve and Lisa, Boston, MA - 11/15/06 - Itor

Hi Becky.

I want to thank you and Greg for having me, Cruiser, & Porsche out to train with you. I enjoy it so much. You both have been so great in giving me training advice. Porsche has come a long way because of it. What's even more important to me is that you both get to watch your wonderful pup HemiCruiser grow up. I am so proud of him and everywhere we go he turns heads. I hope I can help him become the awesome dog he has the potential to be. Tonight the weather has both dogs acting like kids. I can hardly keep up with them. It's good to see Porsche having fun with another dog. She needed it and Cruiser is perfect because he has such a great personality with other dogs. So thanks again.

Talk to you soon.

Janis - 10/25/06 - Cruiser & Porsche

Hi Rebecca & Greg,

Sorry it took so long to get pictures of Gus out to you. As you can see, he's a gorgeous boy. At 4 mo. he now weighs 39 lbs. He's definitely a mama's boy & I'm crazy about him. My husband teases me and calls Gus "The Golden Child " because he can do no wrong in my eyes. :)
We've been really good about taking him to public places and getting him used to strangers. He loves the beach. He walks great on a leash and knows sit and off. He's a crazy little thing though and tries to bite bike and lawn mower tires while in motion. We're working on that issue with him! He's given up smacking frogs and has moved on to a nightly ritual of chasing grasshoppers. Our poodle still hates him, but Sadie the Dane loves having a playmate. I know you guys said Flick loved the pool. He passed that trait on to his son. We bought Gus a baby pool and he loves splashing around in it! I just want to let you guys know that if you ever want to have someone call us for a reference, please feel free. The quality of your shepherds and the environment in which they are kept is unbelievable. You take pride in what you do and it shows. I will occasionally send updated photos to you and let you know how everything is going. Thanks for everything!

Hi Rebecca and Greg,

Just wanted to say "Hi" and "Thank You" for our little puppy, Utah. She is just wonderful, beautiful and smart. We receive a lot of comments on her, and we proudly tell where we got her. She already knows several commands, and is eager to learn. We are still working on house training, but she is getting better and better every day. She gets along with the cat very well, and they love to play with each other. She is 11 weeks now, but sometimes she thinks she is older than that. Here are some pictures of her. Some of them when we just got her (8 weeks), and two of them at 10 weeks.

Thank you again for our precious puppy.

Hi Rebecca and Greg,

Just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how much we enjoy having Hailee (Litter H). She is a great addition to the family and we are looking forward to seeing her grow old with us. She has a very unique personality and is full of fun and energy! When you told us that it looked like she was going to be one that liked the water you had no way of knowing how right you would be! We cant keep her out of the pool. When she gets tired of swimming she just climbs onto one of the rafts and relaxes! She's about 4 and a half months old now and just gets bigger everyday. We can't tell you the number of compliments about her wherever we go. You two do a great job with your Shepard's and we've already recommended you to a lot of people who ask us about Hailee. Keep up the great work and hopefully we'll be able to stop by on some Sunday to watch one of your training sessions.

Thanks again

Kerry, Tammy, and Ashley - 07/19/06 - Hailee - Litter H

Greg and Rebecca,

Just wanted to send a pic of Hogi going on 5 months. He's quick to obey and outstanding in class. Look for referrals - many have asked where we found him.

Thanks,

Hi Becky & Greg,

Here are a few updated photos of Kaiser (litter C) & Fiona (litter F). From day one they have gotten along great. They play so well together, they are true buddies. Kaiser has become a very handsome obedient young man and Fiona is our little princess, who can be very spoiled at times. They have very distinct, unique personalities. Thank you do much for 2 beautiful dogs. This pic of Fiona is a few months old I'll get you a more recent one soon!

Hi Rebecca and Greg,
I'm sending a couple updated photos (5/13/06) of Daemon (Litter "D"),because I realized I haven't sent you one in a while. Don't let that sweet
little face fool you--this is a huge dog at 10 months old, 27-28 inches at the shoulders. He hasn't even started to fill out yet. Yet at the same time
he is fast as lightning and can spin on a dime. He listens to every word, and is a problem-solver--he watches how we do stuff and then works
on how he can do it himself. He was opening the door to his crate when he was only a couple months old. Even though he's stopped chewing
most everything, he still sleeps in it because it's 'his'.
He is full of energy, but will take time.

Jan - 6/4/06 - Daemon - Litter D

Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know Gus is doing great. The poodle still despises him, but she'll get over it. He and the Great Dane get along really well, but he'll bite her mouth when she's laying down and after she's had enough she'll take her paw and smack him- the little blockhead loves it though and keeps coming back for more! He follows her all over the woods and likes to hit frogs with his huge paws at night. At his 10wk checkup he weighed almost 21 lbs - really healthy and you should see how beautiful his face is. The vet and his assistant kept saying what a handsome boy he was. His ears are crowning more and more each day. Well, that's it for now. I'll send you some photos of him soon. You two take care!

Rebecca Prevatt - 05/15/06 - Gus - Litter G

Hey Rebecca,

Do you think Enstien will get bigger or does he look full grown to you? I think he is either Anna's size or a little bigger. I can't wait to see Flick's and Anna's pups. Every time we take Enstien into Petsmart people are always saying how handsome he is. My wife says he is part lion because the red on the side of his neck looks like a mane. Well, talk to you later. I'll send more pictures later.

Michael - 2/12/06 - Enstien - Litter E

Hi Rebecca and Greg,

Just a short note to let you know how the big guy is doing. He is absolutely wonderful! He is now just a little over 14 weeks and weighed in @ 25'# @ 12 weeks old. He is smart and has never had an accident in the house or for that matter when we were traveling in the motor home on the way back home. What ever you do with those pups for training works. Thanks alot. I just had to pay attention to him. Just like you said, he starts to walk in circles when he needs to potty. Now he comes up to us and makes little noises. Billy is just great. I haven't gotten my pictures developed yet. He really is cute with his long legs and floppy ears. I again want to thank you for the tour and the demo of Flick and Anna. You have a very nice facility and I will surely pass on the word about High Drive Kennels. I will let every one know that our visit (although rude) was unannounced and everything was clean and well kept.

You and Greg are super and I can tell that both of you care a great deal about you dog friends. Rebecca Keep the tissue close by.. I can tell you will sell many puppies.

Thanks again for a very enjoyable time. I will keep in touch and try to send pic's of Billy

Sincerely,
Terry and Chuck - Ewen, MI - 5/25/06 - Billy - Litter F

Hi Rebecca,

I have been so busy as we have had relatives from up North here all week!!!! I wanted to let you both know how wonderful Hogan is. I will send pix of Mika and Hogan playing together. He is a tough cookie and she is very gentle with him. He is great about going to the bathroom outside as long as I remember to let him out. He will usually go sit by the door. He can come, sit and shake paws and he is adorable. Both of his ears popped up about last Sunday. He is a really nice pup and I get wonderful comments about what a nice pup he is and how beautiful he is. I tell them where I got him. Got to go, I promise pix next week. Thanks for my new guy.

Jackie, Ken and Anthony - 5/4/06 - Hogan - Litter H

Hi Rebecca,

Just a note to say how much I love another one of your pups. He is the greatest. He is just as smart as Mika and so sweet. You can tell he is a big, old male pup. Mika is so gentle with him just like a mom. He has gained 5 pounds already. He watches me sometimes, it is funny, I will look over and he is just sitting looking at me. He is great on leash and sits and stays and comes. He loves to be held but not too long as he is a wiggle worm. Anyway, just an update, and I am going to send a picture too. Thanks for your great dogs.

Jackie - 5/12/06 - Hogan - Litter H

Hi Rebecca!

I just wanted to update you all with a picture of my Mika. It is hard to believe that she is a year old already. Since I pick up my second pup from you next week, I thought I would just send this picture and let you know how much I love my dog. She is so smart and we already have gone through basic training with her and she graduated on up to intermediate classes now and is doing great. She listens so well and does whatever it is that I ask of her. She loves to work the equipment the most. She will also run after her ball for hours. We are excited to be picking up her little brother next week and I know she will be so happy to have someone to play with. Thanks again for the wonderful dogs, I get compliments on her all the time. See you soon and I promise to send pictures of the puppy with her next week.

Hi Rebecca and Greg!

Dixie and I bonded from day one! This little girl is a handful of joy and a very beautiful animal. She is growing so fast in such a short time. "Finally", I believe she is growing into her big beautiful ears that everyone comments on. We have been doing a lot of obedience training. She picks up on all the exercises really fast. She's such a smart little girl! Thank you again for such a beautiful young lady. She brings much joy to me and my family. We love her very much!!

Hello Rebecca & Greg,

I’m sending an update and picture of Bella from your B litter. She is just over a year old now. What a nice girl she has turned out to be. I have never seen such a happy dog. She just smiles all day long. She is a very loyal dog. She loves to be by your side no matter what your doing. She loves to play with her favorite ball as you can see in her pics, she has it with her most of the time. Not to often can you get her from the yard to the car without her turning around to get it. I take her out and throw the ball for her, I throw it 10 times and she wants 50 times. She never ever tires. She can go all day happily. I have been training her since she was a pup, just basics. She is a very quick learner. Now that she is a little older I have her enrolled in an obedience class. She gets along well with my other dogs, and believes she is the top dog!!!! If someone comes to the house or near my vehicle while she is in it, she lets them know she is there. She is very protective of us and the property here. She sure is a good dog to keep those guests away that you would rather not have… Thank you again for such a nice dog.

Carolyn - Franklinville, NJ - 1/31/06 - Bella - Litter B

Hi, Rebecca and Greg!

Itor is doing really well! His ears stand up nicely, and he is growing up to be such a big, beautiful boy. He is also very smart and is picking up on his obedience training really quickly. Itor is learning his commands in Czechoslovakian. He loves being outside in our large yard and gets along well with our other two French Mastiffs. He especially loves to play ball, tug of war, retrieve and run circles around our other two dogs. Itor is well-behaved and definitely has non-stop energy! He is strong, happy and has an inquisitive and adventurous personality. Itor has been the perfect addition to our family, and we are so happy to have him.
Thanks for breeding such healthy, quality Shepherds and being so passionate and caring about all of your dogs!

to stay up. Attached are a few pictures. He is fast becoming part of the family. The girls love him.

Hi, Greg,

Just a note to let you know that the puppy is doing fine, and to thank you for showing us his parents last Sunday. It helps to visualize what the little fellow might look and act like once he grows up. I think you were right about the tan darkening toward red. I see more and more of it every day. One ear is almost all the way up already, and I could swear his feet are bigger...

I think we will call him Daemon (day-mon). He initially didn't think much of the crate, once he saw some of the new world (major understatement here). I've been letting him run and play out on the screen porch after visiting the local bushes, and he's already found and claimed a tennis ball and a couple of squeak toys that Shado never liked.

Shado is behaving much better than I thought he would, but there's no doubt he is jealous. After we brought the puppy in, he demanded to inspect the garage and the laundry room to make sure there weren't any MORE awful secrets we were keeping from him. I'm taking the playing-together very slowly because he occasionally makes a grab at the little fellow, even though we're giving him all the consideration and attention we can--food dishes and certain toys and rugs are not communal, and he has time alone with us every day. He's always been a strong alpha, and I'm not sure the puppy really understands that aspect yet (the little guy pretty much ignored the older dog at first, as if he didn't exist).

We are making progress--he slept through the night last night!--and during this morning's playtime they were each laying peacefully on their respective sides of the sliding glass door, no barking or posturing. So I think everything will work out, given a little more time and patience.

Hey Becky & Greg!

We just wanted to thank you for helping us find such a terrific dog. Kaiser came right in and played with our other two dogs wonderfully. He plays non-stop with them and they love it. I'm sure they are just as happy as we are to have a little brother to play with.

Kaiser is seven months now and he is the absolute perfect dog in our eyes. He has been training now for about a month and is picking up so well, he is just so smart!!! Kaiser can heel, sit, stay, and lay down so far. It is amazing how fast they learn. I don't know what we'd do without him, Thank you again.

Marti Henderson & Mel Carter - 9/19/05 - Kaiser - Litter C

Hi Becky!

I have some pictures for you to see what a beautiful shepherd that Jaxie, Litter C, (you called her Camie) has come to be. When we got her she was 12 weeks old and we had just lost our shepherd. We were skeptical of getting another shepherd so soon. However, it turned out to be the best thing we could have done at the time and now our void of a broken heart is filled with love and laughter.

Jaxie is a smart, comical, energetic, and affectionate shepherd. She loves to fetch balls all day long and play with our 7 & 8 yr olds on the trampoline (she chases and barks at them on the bottom of the trampoline while the kids jump on the top). She truly feels like she is just one of the kids and fits our family perfectly. She acts so much like one of us that she jumps on the couch to watch tv and sleeps in the bed with us after she kisses the kids good night. She's great and the kids love that.

She learns very quickly! She knows how to sit, stay, jump, and lay down in a short time after having her and is quick to know when she has done something she shouldn't have. She truly is a remarkable shepherd and we cannot begin to express how grateful we are that we got Jaxie from you. I hope that anyone that is looking for a great shepherd would certainly consider getting one from you guys. Thanks again for breeding such excellent shepherds that have pleased us so much with the one we have. We love her!

Sincerely,

Wayne, Meranda, Shane, and Madison - 8/16/05 - Jaxie - Litter C

Rebecca,

My family & I would like to Thank You so much for our beautiful pup. She is so wonderful to be with. She makes me smile just looking at her. She is very smart too. After having her for only 1 week, she already is trained to go outside to do her thing. She also knows how to come when we call her.

Thank you for having such big, healthy, wonderful dogs. I will definitely recommend you highly. We call her Mika. Thanks again.

Jackie - 5/2/05 - Mika - Litter C

Hey,

We recently purchased a German Shepherd from you. His name was Badger, but we named him Bear. He is from the B litter. I cannot put into words what this dog means to us. Bear has brought us such a warm feeling in our hearts. He is the smartest dog I have ever had or even been around. We have began training him, and it is no shock to us we do have a brilliant dog.

Bear learned potty training in only a few days after getting here. He only had a couple accidents. Now he just goes right to the door and sits. Bear has learned sit, right paw, left paw, lie down, sit pretty, and he rolls over twice in a row. He is amazing. We are just so thankful for you guys. When we were there we felt nothing but comfortable. All we did was talk about how caring and compassionate you guys were for your animals all the way home.

We again just want to thank you and we will be sure to keep you guys up to date if you have enough room in your computer for all the ten thousand pictures we take!!

Sincerely,

J.C. And Leigh Ann - 3/22/05 - Bear - Litter B

Hello Guys,

Aeva is a wonderful young lady. She's a smart, quick learner that loves to please you. She comes every time when called with a happy attitude. This little girl is full of energy. She goes non-stop with lots of play drive! She is very loyal to her handler. She is very friendly to all guests. Everyone loves how sweet & friendly she is.

She's a good mannered house dog with whom she shares with 3 older german shepherds we have. These pictures are of her at 6 months of age. Thank you very much for all you have done and we will be sure to keep in touch!

Happy K9 Lover - 3/11/05 - Aeva - Litter A

Greg,

I wanted to thank you for picking Bella from your B litter out of Anna/Rabuke for me. She did absolutely wonderful on the airplane to NJ. She adjusted real well to her new home. She is proving to be a very smart girl at just over 8 weeks of age and beginning to run to the door to go outside. She already sleeps through the night, which makes me very happy.

We also have other dogs and Bella came right up to all of them without hesitation. Showed no signs of being shy frightened or stressed. She came from a nice warm state to 5 inches of snow which concerned me. Well, guess what, she loved it. She had a lot of fun her first day here burying her nose in it. What a lovely girl she is.

I have visited several kennels before making a final decision as to where I would be purchasing my next German Shepherd. I must commend you and your staff for having a very nice and well cleaned facility. Thank you and Becky for taking all the time you did with me and welcoming me to your kennels.

I will surely recommend High Drive Kennels to anyone looking for a nice German Shepherd. The pictures below is Bella in her bag for the flight to NJ, another of her playing in the snow the very next day after we got her home, and one of her showing early signs of what a great retrieve she will have someday.(Maybe she is actually saying get me back to the warm state...Here's the keys) Thank you once again for such a great puppy. I will be sure to keep you and Becky updated with her progress and will also send you pictures as she grows.

Hi Becky!

Attached are more photos of PJ and Silverado. They're 11 weeks old in the photos, and I think they're 1 and 1/2 times bigger already! They are SO MUCH FUN. Truly dogs of personality and flair. Since I've had them, they were so quick to figure out to stay around the house unless I was with them. They've mixed so well with the other dogs. Now that they're getting older (and braver!) I have to keep an eye on them more, as they tend to want to explore more of the farm. I've found them in the mare's pasture once. They come running every time we call them though, which is a credit to you.

They have two very distinct personalities ...which are equally charming. Silverado is more affectionate. He is SUCH A LOVE. He is very expressive about it too. It is so sweet. PJ is the more adventurous, out for a good time kind of boy. A little more independent too. He's not as photogenic as Silverado, so don't let the pictures fool you! He's just as gorgeous, but going through a gangly stage. I'm SO GLAD we got two of them since they play endlessly with each other and tend to wear each other out. They're also meeting new people daily which has been great for their socialization. They were so well socialized to start with that I wanted to continue with that as it's made them very friendly and confident. They greet everyone who walks up. It's so funny because they walk up to you and as they get closer they start bring their front feet up (as they swagger towards you) as if to say "Hey, how ya doin? High fiver..put er here". It's really funny.

They had their 12 week check up and shots. Weighed in at 28 pounds each (Silverado was a few ounces heavier, but I think PJ's tail must have been off the scale because he is definitely longer, and will be bigger I think).

Thanks.....and GREAT JOB with breeding these two! We never thought we'd find shepherds like our old ones. These guys are clearly a cut above...just like the other two we had.
